Visit Club Lincoln on the morning of Saturday February 19th for PB & Jazz featuring vocalist Kelly Delaveris who will teach all about the art of samba and more! This is a short interactive concert, designed to introduce jazz and American music to young children and their families. Then head out to count birds and have fun while helping contribute to science! This is for all ages and registration online is required. Stop at the James Bradley Center for a short presentation on Ohio birds, while enjoying a hot beverage and a pastry. The Great Backyard Bird Count At Infirmary Mound ParkĪt 9am on Saturday February 19th visit Infirmary Mound Park to take part in an annual science event of bird watching that engages bird watchers of all ages. This is a short prairie hike, but be sure to dress for muddy conditions. Visit Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park on Friday February 18th at 5pm, where you can explore the wetlands while looking for Harries and Short-eared Owls. Harrier and Short Ears At Battelle Darby Creek Visit The Works on Friday February 18th for the fun series “ Around Town” where each week there is a new topic to explore each week with your little ones! This week the topic will be All About Bobcats! This event starts at 9:30am and is included with admission. We are collecting bags through March 1 so sign up today! 3. Join us in giving them hope and encouragement during their stay by assembling snack bags and making cheer cards while, at the same time, learning about empathy and making a difference (now with a NEW discussion guide!). Here in Central Ohio, we are lucky to have the Ronald McDonald House helping families when their kids are in the hospital for an extended time. Hope for Hospitalized Kids and their Families with Seeds of Caring All skaters must sign a waiver on-site prior to skating. Please note, the number of skaters may be limited at any given time due to demand. There is no need to bring your own skates, they will be available at the event.
